For this soft hair color to show up, you’ll need a light base first. That means that brunettes and raven-haired beauties will have to go through a lot to ensure they’re properly tickled pink. You will have to bleach and strip your hair’s natural pigment before the colored dye can even be applied. If you’re determined to see the world through rose-colored glasses, be sure to go to a salon where the hair stylists specialize in creative color.
The upkeep can be enormous
Around 72% of girls feel tremendous pressure to be beautiful, which often results in a lot of extra work. If you aren’t prepared for the maintenance, you may want to think twice before getting pastel locks. Even when the dyes are permanent, they’ll fade a lot more quickly than natural shades. We understand how these little luxuries can add up. But if you want to make sure your pink ‘do wows, your salon is your best bet. Not only will you get the color you want, but you’ll also be able to avoid a lot of unnecessary damage to your hair. Your color will be even, your hair will be silky and healthy, and your results will last far longer. Plus, any hair color you’ll find in a box or in a bottle on a shelf simply won’t be as high quality as what you’ll find in the salon. Going the DIY route will likely lead to disappointment (and you may have to book an appointment anyway to fix the result).
