Can my BELLAMIS be dyed?Yes, Bellami hair extensions are 100% human hair that have gone through its own dyeing process, however, we dye to match 100% to your hair color. We do not recommend dying the Balayage or Ombre sets as they have been processed multiple times.
Can I use styling tools on my BELLAMIS?Yes you can! We always recommend using a heat protectant spray.
Can I wash my BELLAMIS?Absolutely, and your Salon Khouri stylist will recommend the right product for your Bellamis prior to leaving your appointment! Leave-in conditioners and heat protectants will prolong your BELLAMIS life span.
How long do BELLAMI Hair extensions typically last?The lifespan of BELLAMIS is anywhere from 3 – 6 months, depending on their usage and how they are cared for and maintained.
Can you please explain the difference between K-Tip, I-Tip, Weft and Tape-Ins?Absolutely! The K-Tip Bellamis are bonded to your hair using a natural keratin bond. This is the ideal installation for those with fine hair. The K-tips last from 3-4 months and cannot be reused. The I-Tip Bellamis are bonded to your hair using beads. You will need to make maintenance appointments to have the beads moved up as your hair grows out and, if you take excellent care of your Bellami I-Tip hair, you can re-use it for 6 months or longer. The Bellami Wefts are weaved into your hair and is recommended for clients with thick or course hair. You will need to make maintenance appointments for your weft to have them removed and re-installed. Clients typically wear wefts for shorter durations, but can keep their wefts for re-installation at later dates. The Bellami Tape-Ins are taped onto your hair in small sections and last for 2-3 months. The tape-ins are a great way to experiment with peek-a-boo color or add pops of color to your hair.
How do I get started?You will first want to call us at 703.273.7878 to book a complimentary 15-30 minute consultation with one of our Bellami Certified stylists. During that consult, they will go over the different types and recommend the extension method best suited for your hair type. They will assist in selecting the right color to match your current hair color. To book your extensions appointment for the installation of your extensions, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the extensions service cost. The front desk and your Salon Khouri Bellami certified stylist will work with booking your extensions installation appointment. Appointments are typically 1-2 hours in length.
